Tebogo Keebine


Tebogo “Tebza” Keebine was born and raised in streets of Tembisa. A humble mans love for film was sparked by playing with (old school) stills cameras. This curiosity acted as a catalyst as his love for film and camera work would late be influenced by photographing everyday Africans and the rich content within their everyday lives. This then sparked him to go into film with the idea of African storytelling through cinematic language.
With 9 years experience in the film industry, Tebogo has grown to understand several of the highest-end camera systems and how to best use them to tell a visual narrative through the camera. With a Bachelors Degree in Motion Picture from the acclaimed AFDA (The South African School of Motion Picture Medium and Live Performance) and having being
Nominated for best cinematography in the film production “Lindela” which went on to win Best Picture and Best Actor at the Pulp Film Festival as well as and Best Actor at the Sehsuchte Film Festival in Germany 2011, Tebogo would then go on to D.O.P Comedy Central Africa’s Premiere Comedy Show “Live at Parkers” in 2012. His most recent film work was the 2016 short film The Hangman in which he was the Exec-Producer on.
